Homes for Our Troops, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing specially adapted homes to our most severely wounded veterans returning from the War on Terror. The homes and services we provide are provided at no cost to the veterans we serve.

SSG Keil volunteered for his first tour (in Iraq) because he was single and had hoped to take the place of someone either married or had kids. However, on his second tour in Iraq, the newly married 25 year old soldier was hit by sniper fire near Ramadi, Iraq in February, 2007. The injury left him a quadriplegic, though he has regained some use of his left hand.
